I moderated the plenary session of the 14th Philippine Linguistics Congress where renowned linguist R. David Zorc read his newest paper "Axis Relationships in the Philippines -- Where Traditional Subgrouping Falls Short". I consider this a milestone since I have been deeply engaged with Dr. Zorc's work since I began taking an interest in the Bisayan variety Porohanon spoken in the Camotes Islands, Cebu.
