I was invited to give a guest lecture in Asst. Prof. Domijoe Bulan's class Psych 148 - Cognitive Psychology. In my talk titled "The Functional-Cognitive Paradigm in Linguistics: A Primer for Psych Majors", I gave a brief introduction to Cognitive Linguistics and the theory of Cognitive Grammar. We were able to demonstrate the mutual benefit of conversation and exchange between the scientific study of language, linguistics, and the study of the human mind, psychology.
