This course provides students with essential knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of compiling dictionaries in the context of the Philippines. By critically analyzing existing dictionaries for Philippine languages, the course allows students to identify key issues in lexicography and offer their own insights to address the challenges in the field posed by the grammatical structures and morphosyntactic behaviors of Philippine languages.
