Elaine follows the Water Quality Management track of the MS EnE program and her research looks into sustainable water management strategies for municipal governments. She graduated from Miriam College with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Planning and Management (major in Urban and Regional Planning). She then finished a Master's Degree at the School of Urban and Regional Planning in the University of the Philippines.
Elaine currently works at the Local Government of San Mateo, Rizal and is engaged in environmental and disaster related projects. She also has environmental-related consultancy projects in Valenzuela, Taytay, and the province of Laguna.
She describes herself as a writer, adventurer, urban planner, and a future environmental engineer. During her free time, she travels, writes poems, cooks, and bakes.
