March 29, 2019

In line with the UP Department of Linguistics Philippine Indigenous Languages Lecture Series (PILLS) 2019, I gave a talk on the three construction types–existential, possessive, and locative– in Porohanon (ISO 639-3 prh), a Bisayan variety spoken in the Camotes islands, Cebu. These constructions have been traditionally viewed as structurally and conceptually-related to each other.
The event was promoted on the UP Dept. of Linguistics Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/UPLinguistics/posts/2376755135710623.
