I gave a paper presentation on reviewing the notion of language dominance with insights from the case of Babuyan Claro, at the Typology of Small-Scale Multilingualism Conference 2 organized by the University of Helsinki, Finland.
Representatives of the Philippine Information Agency - NCR interviewed me and Asst. Prof. Felipe P. Jocano, Jr. of the Anthropology Department to get our thoughts on social dialects and language change in relation to Buwan ng mga Wika [Languages Month] 2021.

I gave a paper presentation on reconstructing the prehistory of the Babuyan Claro community at the 15th International Conference on Austronesian Linguistics.
Our team (Victoria Chen, Chen-Chuen Kuo, and Isaac Stead) gave a plenary talk at the 15th International Conference on Austronesian linguistics on re-examining the position of Malayo-Polynesian within the Austronesian language family.
