Members of the Department met with Dr. Richard Scheerer, the grandson of Prof. Emeritus Otto Scheerer (one of the first professors of the Department of Linguistics), to talk about how to keep Prof. Scheerer’s legacy alive as we move forward on our #Roadto100. Dr. Scheerer also gave the Department digital scanned copies of his grandfather’s works and other documents.
