Lawrence G. Velasco is Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance at the Cesar E. A. Virata School of Business, University of the Philippines, Diliman. 

Lawrence is an experienced finance professional with extensive experience in C-suite/strategic Corporate Finance functions such as financial planning, controllership, financial reporting, and loan origination. He is also adept at the development, due diligence, evaluation/valuation, feasibility study development, and structuring of PPP and M&A deals in the Philippines and within Southeast Asia. Lawrence was the Project Development Director for the Philippine Government in its PPP program, partnering with different national and local implementing agencies in delivering PPP infrastructure and social projects with profound socio-economic impact. He was also the Chief Finance Officer of Manila Water Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., the international operations arm of Manila Water Company.
