Profile

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with training and expertise in applied behavior analysis, cognitive-behavioral therapy, schema therapy, and alliance-focused interventions. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences, cum laude, at the University of the Philippines, Manila and my Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. 

 

I am working as an associate professor at the UP Diliman, Department of Psychology and I am currently the Coordinator of UP Ginhawa Clinical Psychology Research Laboratory. I also serve as a clinical supervisor at UPD PsycServ and Childfam-Possibilities Psychosocial Services.

 

My research interests include: quantitative and qualitative investigations of therapeutic alliance, client-therapist fit, psychotherapy process and outcome research, phenomenological psychopathology, coping strategies, and digital mental health.

 

My advocacy work centers on advancing just and reasonable academic accommodations for students with psychosocial conditions and promoting the development of culturally grounded mental health interventions and assessment tools.
