DANILO ARAÑA ARAO is a professor of the Department of Journalism at the University of the Philippines Diliman College of Media and Communication (UPD CMC). He is the editor of Media Asia, a refereed journal published by the Asian Media Information and Communication (AMIC) Centre and Routledge Taylor & Francis Group. He has a Doctor philosophiae (Dr. phil.) degree from the Institut für Medien und Kommunikationswissenschaft, Technische Universität Ilmenau (Germany). Many of his books are uploaded on Goodreads.
