I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Arts in English Studies: Language at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. During my undergraduate study, I was able to present a study on multimodal conceptual metaphors in an international conference and publish a part of my undergraduate thesis in Multimodal Communication, an international SCOPUS-indexed journal.When I'm not reading or writing about the politics of language, decoloniality, metaphors, and linguistic landscapes, I like to play around with my typewriters, update my numismatic collections, read about monster theory (particularly Maximo Ramos and Jeffrey Cohen books) and English gothic literature.
