Over 2,000 participants registered to learn more about the different opportunities for the youth to get involved in a green career. Our paper entitled Is Malayo-Polynesian a primary branch of Austronesian? A reappraisal was presented at the New Zealand Linguistics Society Language and Society Conference 2020. This was co-authored with Victoria Chen, Chen-Chuen Kuo, and Isaac Stead.
I was invited to speak at the online edition of the Binalot Talks, a series of lectures held every Wednesday, lunchtime and hosted by the Archaeological Studies Program (ASP) of the University of the Philippines. I talked about my current research on Porohanon (ISO 639-3 prh), its linguistic features and community profile.
