The editors of three anthologies of Filipino-Australian poetry, Vietnamese-Australian writing and Lao-Australian refugee writing discuss their experience in identifying, working with and assisting emerging writers. JOSE WENDELL CAPILI
Jose Wendell Capili is an internationally published poet, academic and essayist. He is currently working on a research project at ANU.
RICARDO DE UNGRIA (THE PHILIPPINES)
Ricardo De Ungria is a highly regarded and award-winning Filipino poet. A founding member of the Philippine Literary Arts Council and Unyon ng mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas, he is chancellor of the University of the Philippines in Mindanao. His participation is supported by the Philippine Consulate General.
NOONEE DORONILA
Noonee Doronila is the editor of Passion/Simbuyo, a collection of poems written by Filipino women and Australian-Filipino youth. She was recognised at the 2007 ACT International Women's Day Awards.
TUAN-NGOC HOANG
Tuan-Ngoc Hoang is the editor of the Bridge, an anthology of Vietnamese-Australian writing.
SUMANA VIRAVONG
Sumana Viravong is the editor of Lao Seri, an Anthology of Lao-Australian refugee writing.
