The official UP Diliman news portal featured the recently concluded 14th Philippine Linguistics Congress. I took part in two of the five panels in the congress: “Counter-Babel: Reframing Linguistic Practices in Multilingual Philippines” where I shared some of my observations and insights from working with speakers of Porohanon in the Camotes Islands, Cebu and “Philippine Lexicography through the Ages” where I helped disseminate the findings for the second installment of the #LexiCOVID Project.
