Roderick Ramos is a seasoned professional in the field of project management, IT and technology consulting who currently teaches graduate-level courses on technology project management at the Technology Management Center (UP TMC), University of the Philippines Diliman (UP Diliman).  He had stints with several multinational corporations where he led projects in the technology, banking, utilities, consulting and government sectors.  Currently, he is working full-time as a project management professional for a Forbes' Global Top 5 corporation, covering technology projects in the ASEAN region.

He holds Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Master's degree in Industrial Relations and Master's degree in Technology Management, all obtained from UP Diliman.  He also attended the pioneer batch of the 1-year, full-time, joint UP-Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) postgraduate certificate in Information Technology (specializing in Applications Development) at the UP IT Development Center (UP ITDC).  He participated in several leadership and technical trainings from various training providers, international organizations and universities abroad.  

He is heavily certified with several professional qualifications that are highly-recognized in the industry.  This includes the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (by the Project Management Institute, USA), Projects in Controlled Environment (PRINCE2) Certification (both Foundation and Practitioner levels by the Office of Government Commerce, UK), Agile Project Management (AgilePM) Certification (both Foundation and Practitioner levels by the APMG-International, UK), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Certification (both Foundation and Practitioner levels by the APMG-International, UK), and IT Infrastructure Library Version 3 (ITILV3) Certification (by The Cabinet Office, UK).  

For two straight years (in 2014 and 2015), he was selected as one of the top 5 finalists among hundreds of candidates across the globe for the Kerzner Award, a prestigious and highly-competitive award for project management excellence administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). based in the Pennsylvania, USA.  

In 2016, he was invited to the Project Management Institute's Exam Development Workshops in Hong Kong as one of the subject matter experts to write, review and edit questions to be used for future PMP certification examinations.
